En este art\u00edculo se presentan cuatro trabajos publicados recientemente en los que se discuten estrategias para mejorar la producci\u00f3n de grasa en la leche.<\/p>\n<h4>Disminuir el riesgo de depresi\u00f3n de la grasa l\u00e1ctea<\/h4>\n<p>Un estudio reciente llevado a cabo en la Universidad Nebraska-Lincoln <strong>evalu\u00f3 los efectos aditivos de la grasa y el almid\u00f3n en la dieta de vacas lecheras<\/strong> como factores de riesgo asociados con la depresi\u00f3n de la grasa en leche.\u00a0 Los investigadores (Ram\u00edrez Ram\u00edrez y col., 2015) compararon una dieta control (grasa 5,2%; almid\u00f3n 19%) con otras 3 dietas similares al control conteniendo 0,97% aceite de ma\u00edz (grasa 6,4%, almid\u00f3n 18%); 8,5% ma\u00edz molido (grasa 5,5%, almid\u00f3n 22%); o ambos: 0,97% aceite de ma\u00edz y 7,6% ma\u00edz molido (grasa 6,5%, almid\u00f3n 23%). Todas las dietas estuvieron compuestas por 33% de ensilado de ma\u00edz, 10% de heno de alfalfa y 20% de granos de destiler\u00eda (DDGS).<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados, publicados en el <em>Journal of Dairy Science<\/em>, mostraron que la inclusi\u00f3n de aceite, almid\u00f3n, o la combinaci\u00f3n de ambos indujo a la depresi\u00f3n de la grasa en leche, medida como la reducci\u00f3n de la concentraci\u00f3n total y producci\u00f3n de \u00e1cidos grasos sintetizados de novo (&lt;16 carbones) en la leche. Comparadas con la dieta control (3,3% grasa en la leche), las dietas con aceite de ma\u00edz adicional o <span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #333333;\"><a style=\"color: #333333; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/dellait.com\/es\/tienen-las-vacas-requerimientos-de-almidon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">almid\u00f3n de ma\u00edz<\/a><\/span> disminuyeron la
